Workplace Policy

This policy outlines the standards of conduct and operational guidelines for all employees at ParkCalc Consultants.

1. Professional Conduct

Maintain integrity, respect, and professionalism in all interactions—both internal and client-facing.

No harassment, discrimination, or abusive language will be tolerated.

2. Work Hours & Flexibility

Standard hours: (Specify actual hours, e.g., 9:30 AM – 6:30 PM, Monday to Friday).

Flexibility: Remote work or flexible hours may be allowed for specific roles if productivity and deadlines are maintained.

3. Confidentiality & Data Security

Client data, proprietary software code, and project documentation must be handled securely.

Sharing intellectual property or confidential information outside the company is prohibited.

4. Technology & Equipment Use

Company devices, AutoCAD licenses, and software are for work-related tasks only.

Any installation of third-party tools must be approved to avoid security risks.

5. Performance & Accountability

Employees are expected to meet project deadlines, maintain code/document quality, and log progress transparently.

Peer code reviews and drafting checks are part of the workflow to minimize errors.

6. Health, Safety & Wellbeing

A safe and ergonomic workspace (whether office or remote) is required.

Employees are encouraged to take breaks to prevent burnout, especially during intense design or coding sessions.

7. Remote & Hybrid Work Guidelines

Must maintain reliable internet connectivity, use secure VPNs, and keep client files in approved storage systems (not personal drives).

Video calls and scheduled check-ins are mandatory for remote teams to ensure alignment.

8. Leave & Time-Off

Paid leave, sick leave, and emergency leave must be requested in advance unless urgent.

Unplanned absences must be reported as early as possible.

9. Intellectual Property

Any code, software, AutoCAD LISP routines, or tools developed during employment remain the property of ParkCalc Consultants.

10. Continuous Learning

Employees are encouraged to upskill in AutoCAD scripting, software development, and industry trends.

Certifications or workshops relevant to AEC technology may be subsidized by the company.
